All appointments will be for a two-year term with effect from 1 April 2019, according to a statement by Ministry of National Development, Singapore.
Lee Fook Sun reappointed as BCA chairman, with 4 new board members

The Ministry of National Development (MND) Singapore has re-appointed incumbent Chairman Lee Fook Sun and eight existing members to the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Board. Four new members will also join the BCA Board and five members will be stepping down.

The new Board will continue to play an instrumental role in guiding BCA’s policies and strategies in transforming the built environment sector into one that is more productive and technologically advanced. All appointments will be for a two-year term with effect from 1 April 2019. 

The new Board members are Johnny Lim Chee Hwa , Executive Director, Teambuild Engineering & Construction, Sherman Kwek Eik Tse, Group Chief Executive Officer, City Developments, Professor Tan Thiam Soon, President, Singapore Institute of Technology, and Wong Heang Fine Group Chief Executive Officer, Surbana Jurong Private.

Lee Fook Sun who is also the Chairman of Ensign InfoSecurity Pte. Ltd., has been re-appointed Chairman, BCA.

Five board members will be stepping down. They are Ang Wee Gee, former CEO of Keppel Land, Han Fook Kwang, editor-at-large of The Straits Times; Er Lai Huen Poh, senior managing director of RSP Architects Planners & Engineers; Lim Jui, CEO of NTU Innovation and NTUitive; and Yong Tiam Yoon, deputy chairman of Woh Hup.
