Padmanav Kundu joins AirAsia as head of rewards

Earlier this week, Padmanav Kundu joined Malaysian airline AirAsia as the Head of Rewards.

In his new role,  Kundu will lead and provide strategic direction to the development of pay, rewards and benefit philosophy and framework across all markets in AirAsia Group, in alignment to the business strategy.

Christel Heydemann named first ever Chief Executive Officer of Orange

Earlier this week, French Telecom company Orange named Christel Heydemann its new chief executive officer. 

The appointment marks the first time a woman was hired to lead France's biggest telecoms operator amid a revamp of its governance.

F&N announces appointment of Hui Choon Kit as CEO

Singaporean food and beverage publishing conglomerate Fraser and Neave (F&N) announced the appointment of Hui Choon Kit as the Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 February 2022, the company announced earlier this week. 

Hui will focus on accelerating the execution of the growth strategy of the Group’s businesses and investments.

Wipro names Badrinath Srinivasan as Managing Director for Southeast Asia

IT giant Wipro has named a new Managing Director for Southeast Asia region by appointing  Badrinath Srinivasan in the role. 

As the new MD, Srinivasan will be responsible for implementing Wipro’s vision for business growth, revenue expansion, client and influencer relationships, talent development and brand building.

Joanne Farrell joins as Chair of Safe Work Australia for a three-year term

Safe Work Australia, an Australian Government statutory agency has appointed Joanne Farrell as Chair of Safe Work Australia for a three-year term, effective from 1 February 2022.

The statutory agency develops national policy to improve Work Health and Safety (WHS) and workers’ compensation arrangements across Australia. As the new chair, Joanne will play a key role in reviewing and improving current Work Health and Safety Laws and charting a new path for the emerging workplace challenges in the post-pandemic world of work.
