Accenture appoints Priya Khivansara to head Southeast Asia rewards strategy

Accenture has announced the appointment of Priya Khivansara as the new Rewards, Recognition, and Performance Lead for Southeast Asia, further strengthening its regional leadership team. Based in Singapore, Khivansara will now oversee the function across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, reporting directly to the APAC Head of Rewards, Recognition, and Performance.

With an impressive track record in compensation and rewards, Khivansara brings extensive experience to her new role. Prior to joining Accenture, she was with Citi, where she served as Head of Rewards for North Asia and Compensation Head for the revenue business across the APAC region. Her strategic expertise in total rewards and people analytics has helped drive impactful initiatives across large, matrixed organisations.

In her new mandate, Khivansara will be focusing on enhancing efficiency, fostering collaboration, and driving strategic talent management throughout Southeast Asia. Leveraging data-driven insights, her goal is to build a more agile and integrated approach to total rewards, aligning employee experience with business outcomes.

“A top priority this year is reimagining how we approach talent practices,” said Khivansara. “That means combining data insights with governance and operational excellence, and integrating workforce planning with our benefits strategies. It’s about creating a rewards experience that not only drives performance but also deepens engagement.”

Khivansara also spoke about the increasing complexity of the labour market across Asia-Pacific and the challenges this presents. One of the most pressing, she notes, is balancing cost efficiency with employee experience in a time of shifting expectations.

“Organisations are facing growing demands around pay transparency, equity, and holistic wellbeing, all while navigating economic pressures,” she told HRO. “The challenge is to remain competitive, but also deeply employee-centric.”

As hybrid work models continue to evolve and skills-based pay gains traction, Khivansara said the focus will be on designing a flexible rewards framework that can effectively support both attraction and retention.

“Strategic rewards design needs to keep pace with transforming organisational models. We must be proactive in how we structure and communicate our programmes to meet the needs of a diverse and distributed workforce,” she added.

With Southeast Asia’s dynamic growth environment and varied talent landscapes, Khivansara’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for Accenture’s people strategy in the region. Her cross-market insights and experience across both financial services and consulting will be instrumental in advancing the company’s ambitions.

This new chapter also reflects Accenture’s broader commitment to evolving its talent practices to support business agility, innovation, and inclusive growth across key Asia-Pacific markets.

As the demands on HR leaders continue to rise, Khivansara’s appointment signals a proactive shift toward data-enabled, human-centred performance management—a direction that could help shape the future of work in the region.
