Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore welcomes Reinoud Ottervanger as new MD

Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (part of The HEINEKEN Company) has appointed Reinoud Ottervanger as managing director (MD). His appointment is effective from August. 

Reinoud has succeeded Andy Hewson, who has moved on to a new role with HEINEKEN Cambodia and will report to Kenneth Choo, Managing Director of HEINEKEN Asia Pacific. 

In his new role as MD of HEINEKEN Singapore’s operating company, Reinoud has been tasked with the overall management of APB Singapore’s strategic and operational functions, covering sales and marketing, finance, manufacturing, supply chain, human resources, and corporate affairs. 

Reinoud comes with an experience of 16 years with HEINEKEN where he honed his positively energising leadership style with a passion for driving results and progress as well as a genuine care for people development and sustainability.

Before APB Singapore, Reinoud worked with Surinaamse Brouwerij, a HEINEKEN subsidiary based in Suriname, South America for over 3 years as MD. 

He also held various commercial positions within the HEINEKEN group including HEINEKEN Vietnam and HEINEKEN Netherlands. He has lived, studied, and worked across the world including USA,  Belgium, China, and Nigeria.
