Provenir appoints Lori Copeland as Chief People Officer

Provenir, a US-based fintech platform, has appointed Lori Copeland as Chief People Officer, as announced on January 10, 2024.

Assuming her new role at Provenir, Lori brings over 20 years of HR expertise across healthcare, science, information technology, energy, electrical manufacturing, and IT consulting sectors. She will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategy in alignment with business goals. Additionally, she will lead and guide the entire HR function in the recruitment of new talent and expansion globally.

Before her appointment, Lori worked with LGC as the Vice President of Global Human Resources for over six years. Prior to that, she held positions at a GE subsidiary, Current, as the Global HR Leader of Digital, Pegasystems as the Global Human Resources Director, and Avnet as the Senior Regional Manager of Human Resources. She also served as the Global HR Manager at Sapient at the beginning of her career. Her core competencies include executive coaching, cultural transformation, employee engagement, talent management, employee relations, performance management and compensation, workforce planning, strategic HR, leadership development, employer branding, employee benefits, and well-being.

On the academic front, Lori holds a BS degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Florida and certifications in Executive Coaching, HR leadership, Women’s Leadership, DDI Learning Systems, and PI Analyst.
