Zeno Group appoints Managing Director, Purpose and Impact
With all companies now acknowledging purpose as a clear business imperative, the role of Managing Director, Purpose and Impact is extremely critical for Zeno Group. Hence, the global, integrated communications agency, has roped in veteran Alison DaSilva for the role.
She joins Zeno’s Global Leadership team and will report to Mark Shadle, Managing Director, Global Corporate Affairs.
Shadle said, “Alison will take our current initiatives and client programs to an exciting new level of impact and relevance.”
DaSilva has spent more than two decades counseling clients across the full spectrum of Purpose and corporate social responsibility including strategic planning and goal setting; social impact; sustainability; employee and stakeholder engagement; public/private partnership; and reporting.
She has worked with Cone Communications for more than 20 years and, for the last three, has served as co-creator of Porter Novelli’s Global Purpose Practice. Her experience is in myriad sectors and industries, including hotels and hospitality, specialty and mass retail, consumer packaged goods, healthcare and transportation, as well as national non-profit organizations.
Now, as she takes on a new role, she believes that the best is yet to come.
DaSilva shares, “I have spent the last 25+ years working in the Purpose, Corporate Responsibility and Social Impact space, and yet I believe the best is yet to come in terms of what we as communicators can accomplish.”
Notably, DaSilva has been published in Harvard Business Review and Stanford Social Innovation Review.
As purpose takes over the C-suite, and becomes an important area for them to attend to, how DaSilva leads this role and helps other leaders create and guide their journey toward being an enduring force for societal good is to look forward to.
