Deutsche Bank appoints three wealth management executives from Credit Suisse

Deutsche Bank, a Germany based multinational investment and financial services company recently announced the appointment of three wealth management executives from Credit Suisse. The hirings are a part of Deutsche Bank's expansion plan in the Southeast Asia region.

The Bank has hired experienced wealth management executives from Credit Suisse including, Urs Brudermann, Shawn Nogh and Pichaya Prawnmeet.

Brudermann, with over 20 years of experience in wealth management joins Deutsche Bank as Managing Director and Group Head of South-East Asia. Prior to Deutsche, he worked at Credit Suisse for 11 years and served as team leader for the Thai market. Brudermann comes with ample leadership experience and knowledge of Singapore as well as Hong Kong markets.

Shawn Ngoh, who formerly handled high net worth clients from the Southeast Asia region, is appointed as Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Director. Along with Ngoh, Pichaya Prawanmeet joins Deutsche Bank's wealth management team as Vice President.

Credit Suisse, a Switzerland based investment bank and financial services company had faced a slight fallout due to Archegos and Greensill Capital scandals. The said company is planning to undergo a merger with its three international wealth segments- the international business, Swiss business and its Asia Pacific division- all into one entity. The combination of the international market with the Asia Pacific region will benefit the company in enhancing its wealth management system and private banking for high net worth customers. 

Deutsche Bank with new leadership of experienced wealth management executives, seems adamant on stepping foot in the Southeast-Asian market. The newly appointed executives are market experts, veterans in wealth management and with prior experience in the target market region.
