Sophie Ames appointed Chief HR officer of ServiceMax
Service execution management company, ServiceMax has announced the appointment of Sophie Ames as its new Chief Human Resources Officer for the entire business. Ames will be taking care of ServiceMax’s human capital strategy. She will encourage the teams to reach their full potential and make informed decisions to improve the employee experience. In her new role, Ames will be creating an efficient HR organisation to fulfill the needs of a growing business. She will play an essential role in advancing and meeting diversity and inclusion goals at ServiceMax.
Ames brings 20 years of international HR experience while working at various companies. Over the years, she is recognised to have built and enabled several high performing teams and driven efficient results for the organisations.
Prior to ServiceMax, Ames worked at Veritas Technologies and served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. In her illustrious career, she has taken on many senior HR leadership positions at numerous large multinational technology and service organisations like Avaya and Amdocs.
