AIA Singapore names Delon Choo CEO of advisory arm

Choo’s appointment will see AIA FA move forward in its mission to improve financial literacy in Singapore, according to the company.
AIA Singapore names Delon Choo CEO of advisory arm

AIA Singapore has appointed Delon Choo as Chief Executive Officer of AIA Financial Advisers (AIA FA).

Choo, in his new role, is responsible for overseeing the continued development and growth of AIA FA, which aims to provide customers with professional financial advice, a statement from the company said. AIA FA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AIA Singapore.

According to the company, Choo’s appointment will see AIA FA move forward in its mission to improve financial literacy in Singapore by leveraging the power of digitalization to transform the way financial advisers connect with customers.

Choo has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and he has played key roles in local and regional functions --from business development to strategic implementations. He was Asia-Pacific head of distribution strategies at Chubb Life, prior to joining AIA, where he provided strategic oversight on all distribution channels across the region. Prior to that, he was director of regional agency at Prudential Corporation Asia.

AIA Singapore provides insurance products and services including life insurance, accident and health insurance, medical protection, investments, and savings plans.
