Alex Badenoch

In 2018, Alex Badenoch became Telstra’s Group Executive – Transformation & People. She then took on the expanded accountability for the communications team, becoming Group Executive Transformation, Communications & People in 2020. Badenoch is accountable for Telstra’s transformation roadmap and orchestrating the delivery of its key priorities with a focus on transforming the way employees work.  In her role as Group Executive Transformation, Communications & People, she also oversees activity designed to strengthen employee engagement and external reputation. 

Badenoch has had a long and successful career in which she has worked with some of the biggest names in Australia and has a lot of experience dealing with a highly diversified and international workforce. She had re-joined Telstra in August 2016 and had taken up the role of Group Executive – Human Resources. During that time she was responsible for the provision of strategic advice and support to the business in areas of organisational development and performance, new ways of working, talent, recruitment, remuneration and rewards, HR systems, health safety & environment and workplace relations. 

Prior to this, she was Director of Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Customer at Asciano, Australia’s largest rail and ports operator. Before that, Badenoch worked at Telstra for over five years as Executive Director – Organisational Development and Talent and as  Executive Director HR for Telstra’s Consumer business, including BigPond and Telstra Country Wide. Known for her change management skills and ability to deliver strong commercial outcomes, Badenoch has designed and implemented key initiatives to drive successful change across multiple organisations.

DN Prasad

Presently working as Senior Director for Strategy, People and Organisation, with Government Technology Agency (GovTech), Singapore, DN Prasad is lovingly referred to as DNP in professional circles. He brings to the table extensive experience spanning across both leadership and coaching. He is a Public Service Coach with the Public Service Division, Singapore Government. Prior to his current position, Prasad founded Noetic Step, an executive coaching and talent advisory practice that works with global leaders and organisations. In his last corporate stint, he served as Director and Head of Google People Services for APAC and as a leadership coach at Google Inc. His progressive career in leadership experience spans over seven and a half years at Infosys as global head of early career hiring, campus relations and HR Operations and more than ten years at Google. He also brings extensive experience with coaching leaders across the world, be it APAC, Middle-East, India or the US. 

He serves on the Board of Management Studies of TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal, India, and Advisory Board for Ad Astra Consultants. Prasad is a distinguished thought leader and is regularly featured in several prominent HR publications, both in India and Singapore

Lisa Chang

Lisa Chang is currently the global chief people officer for The Coca-Cola Company, arguably one of the biggest companies in the world. In her current role, Chang is responsible for overseeing the soft drink giant’s talent and people strategies, culture and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. She is responsible for leading the company’s global people strategy, aligned to the company’s purpose of refreshing the world and making a difference. One of Chang’s main areas of focus has been creating an environment where employees can thrive and do their best work, while also equipping the organisation to win. 

Before Coca-Cola, where she has been since 2019, Chang has served as senior vice-president and CHRO for AMB Group, an entertainment and sports conglomerate. Chang has held HR roles at various high-profile companies across industries, from Equifax and Turner Broadcasting System Inc to The Weather Channel Companies. 

Apart from being an integral part of The Coca-Cola’s core team, Chang also serves on the board of advisors for Catalyst, which is a non-profit organisation which aims to accelerate progress for women by taking active measures to include them in the workplace. She also serves as a board member for the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Chang is also on the board of directors for Frontier Communications. 

Shaswat Kumar

In his long and eventful career spanning over 20 years, Shaswat Kumar has seen HR transform in front of his eyes. In fact, he has been instrumental in aiding various organisations achieve their HR digital transformation efficiently, with a high success rate. Kumar has been at the very forefront of several trend shifts in HR. It would be an understatement to say that his understanding of the HR industry is excellent. At Darwinbox, Kumar has accelerated the drive to value realisation for large and medium enterprise customers. In effect, he has helped build the leading HCM provider’s reputation as a trusted advisor for its customer base, and also accelerate the company’s global expansion.

In his career, Kumar has worked with erstwhile Hewitt, Aon and Alight Solutions, where he was instrumental in driving HR transformations anchored on outcomes across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. For the last four years at Alight, he helped HR transformations for leading organisations helping them use digital tools to drive talent and business outcomes. Kumar is an engineering graduate from the Delhi College of Engineering and holds an MBA degree in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.
