Matt Robinson, the Chief Operating Officer of Ambient Digital Group, has been elevated to the role of Regional CEO. He will spearhead the company’s operations in its Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Philippines offices. 

Robinson, who joined the company in 2014, said he will continue his group’s overall strategy of recruiting talent with the right skill sets at various levels of the organization. These talent roles will include agency planners, buyers, creatives, influencer marketers and traders. 

He will also be focusing on expanding the company’s global footprint with multi-market campaigns covering China, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. 

This appointment comes at the heels of the sale of Ambient Digital Vietnam to Dentsu Aegis Indochine wherein two key executives--Thu Nguyen, Founder and Chairman, and Former CEO, ANdrew Stephens--were elevated to senior roles within DAN Vietnam. 

Capitalizing on new digital technologies continues to be Robinson’s focus for the company’s tech team. 

“We have seen a huge increase in spend on our KOL campaigns in the last twelve months. Connected TV is another opportunity ready to explode. As soon as the content providers offer a free service alongside their ad-free paid offer, we are going to witness a revolution in TV advertising,” Robinson said.
