Automation Anywhere strengthens its global leadership team
With a vision to build the company’s global brand and support its next wave of global expansion, Automation Anywhere has appointed industry veterans Stephen DeWitt as its first Chief Strategy Officer and Riadh Dridi as Chief Marketing Officer.
While DeWitt brings extensive experience building startups from inception to scale in this newly created role, Dridi brings more than 20 years of marketing, product management, category creation and sales experience. Dridi has worked with industry-leading enterprise technology providers including VMware and HP. In his recent role at RingCentral he headed marketing as CMO. DeWitt has worked with firms like HP, Cisco, Symantec, and Sun. He has also been CEO of New York-based WorkMarket, which was later acquired by ADP in 2018.
In his latest role DeWitt will oversee internal corporate strategy, operational excellence and help expand external relationships with investors, strategic partners and customers. And Dridi will lead the company’s strategy and execution of marketing efforts to expand Automation Anywhere’s global reach.
Founded in 2003, Automation Anywhere provides Robotic Process Automation (RPA), a platform on which more organizations can build intelligent digital workforces. It uses software bots that work along with people to do much of the repetitive work in many industries. It aims to reduce the repetitive tasks by combining sophisticated RPA, cognitive and embedded analytic technologies.
In the last year, the California based technology firm has increased its customer entities to more than 3,000, doubled its workforce to more than 2,300 and expanded its global footprint to more than 40 offices. As Automation Anywhere continues to build the company’s global brand and aims to expand further, the c-suite expansion becomes critical.
Mihir Shukla, CEO and co-founder, Automation Anywhere shared that they are thrilled to add such incredible expertise to their executive bench to build upon this momentum and usher in a new chapter for intelligent automation.
With global form automation software market valued at $7.09 Bn in 2018 and its growth pegged at 17.97 percent to touch $26.03 Bn by 2026, Automation Anywhere has many opportunities to expand and grow. It has to keep up with the trend, innovate rapidly in tune with the rapid technological changes and continue to evolve.
