Darwinbox elevates technology chief Vineet Singh to co-founder amid rapid global expansion
Darwinbox, the fast-growing HR tech platform, has announced the promotion of its Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Vineet Singh, to the position of Co-founder. This move reflects Singh's pivotal role in the company's technological evolution and its continued success on the global stage.
Vineet Singh was the first employee hired by Darwinbox in 2015, and since then, he has been a driving force behind the development of the company's engineering and R&D teams, which now number over 400 members. Under his leadership, Darwinbox has scaled its operations dramatically, culminating in the creation of a comprehensive Human Capital Management (HCM) suite featuring 15 modules. In just six years, this suite has achieved global recognition, making Darwinbox the youngest and only Asia-origin HCM product to be included in the Gartner Magic Quadrant.
"His vision and technical expertise have been pivotal in shaping Darwinbox into a global-standard enterprise tech product," said Chaitanya Peddi, Co-founder of Darwinbox, who expressed enthusiasm about Singh's new role as the company's fourth co-founder.
Singh's career, which spans both consumer and SaaS technology sectors, has been integral to the development of Darwinbox's modern HR tech platform. Today, the platform serves over 900 enterprises and is utilised by more than 3 million employees worldwide.
Reflecting on his new role, Singh remarked: "Being part of Darwinbox's journey from day one has been incredibly rewarding. As I step into the role of co-founder, I'm excited to continue driving our technology strategy forward, ensuring we remain at the forefront of HR tech innovation."
Darwinbox has experienced significant growth, tripling in size over the past two years and expanding its reach into new markets, including the United States and the United Kingdom. The company has also pioneered several industry firsts, such as integrating its platform with Microsoft Teams and launching the first HR-specific large language model, further cementing its position as a leader in AI-driven HR technology.
