Flock expands senior leadership team

Flock, a collaboration platform that many companies use as a way to conduct internal communications, has hired Ryan Kelly as Vice President of Global Marketing, and Nick D’Ascensao as the Vice President of Global Sales, in its latest effort to bolster the senior leadership team of the company.

The creation of these new senior-level roles and hires is a step towards its goal of global expansion.

Previously, Ryan Kelly had served as VP of Marketing at Nanigans, Facebook’s marketing partner and a cross-channel purchasing platform. His specialties include creating high performing teams by tapping into data-driven marketing and ensuring that teams are able to implement results-oriented go-to-market and growth strategies.

Nick D’Ascensao has joined Flock from ezCater where he specialized in helping companies transform into niche specialists in intensely competitive markets. In his current role at Flock, D’Ascensao will be driving sales on a global level and be tasked with building new and robust revenue models for the company across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.

“With the real-time communication and collaboration seeing increased adoption, we are building a solid team to ensure streamlines growth,” said Sam Mallikarjunan, the recently appointed, Chief Revenue Officer, Flock. “Both join us with a rich range of experience from the continuously evolving startup space and I look forward to working with them to further scale our business.”
