Former IBM Watson CMO Michelle Boockoff-Bajdek joins Skillsoft as CMO

Skillsoft, a global player in corporate learning announced that Michelle Boockoff-Bajdek has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, she will join Skillsoft’s executive leadership team to drive go-to-market initiatives.

Boockoff-Bajdek will oversee the global marketing organization, leading both the Skillsoft and SumTotal marketing teams and the company’s customers toward a vision of unlimited learning potential. Most critically, she will serve as Skillsoft’s brand evangelist, helping to build a vibrant community of passionate learners who understand the key to sustainable success is the ability to develop critical skills in each employee.

Prior to Skillsoft, Boockoff-Bajdek held several executive roles in the high-tech sector. Most recently, as CMO of IBM Watson, she was responsible for marketing the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) products and solutions. She also served as the global head of business marketing for The Weather Company, an IBM business. In that role, she helped companies understand how to anticipate, plan for, and ultimately make better decisions–with greater confidence–in the face of weather.

Boockoff-Bajdek is a prolific speaker on the value of artificial intelligence and the impact of technology on our daily lives at home and at work in addition to being a passionate advocate for the advancement of women in business and veteran rights.
