Alight Solutions has announced the complete acquisition of NGA Human Resources.  The combined organization will bring an enhanced level of technological capabilities, functional expertise and geographic reach across benefits, payroll and HR solutions to its global client base.

With this acquisition, Andy Monshaw will report to Chris Michalak and sit on Alight’s executive leadership team. 

To upscale its payroll capabilities further, last month, Alight also announced the creation of Eloise, an intelligent virtual assistant that will drive payroll. Deploying a patented AI algorithm, Eloise analyzes historic pay data to detect, classify and correct anomalies, and through machine learning, she can continuously glean information from past anomalies that will inform future predictions.

Recently, Alight has also partnered with People Matters to conduct a comprehensive study on how the HR function is gearing up for changing business expectations and getting ready to deliver outcomes in an era that is dominated by employee experience, rapid business model changes, effective adoption of digital and maturing data science.
