FMC India elevates Satender K Sighadia as new Human Resources Head

Satender is an ex-Indian Army man and MDI Gurgaon alumnus, with over twenty years of experience in the field of Human Resource.
FMC India elevates Satender K Sighadia as new Human Resources Head

FMC India, the local footprint of Philadelphia, US-based Food Machinery and Chemical Corporation, has announced the elevation of Satender K Sighadia as Human Resource Head, effective April 01, 2022. Previously, he was the Chief HR leader at the company.

He will be replacing Sanjay Gopinath, who has been promoted to a larger role based in Singapore as the new FMC APAC HR Director.  

Ravi Annavarapu, President, FMC India, said, “I am delighted that Satender will be leading one of the most important functions within the organisation - People and Culture. Satender comes with rich experience and excellent people management skills, and his addition will further strengthen the FMC India senior leadership team.” 

He also added that Satender’s expertise will certainly bolster FMC India’s transformational journey into a vibrant, future-ready and agile organisation delivering science-based sustainable solutions to grow agriculture responsibly. 

An ex- Indian Army man, Satender has extensive experience of more than twenty years in the industry and has been with FMC for the past nine years. 

Satender K Sighadia, FMC India HR Head, said that he is excited to take up this responsibility at FMC, a global leader driving transformation in agriculture – in India and globally.

Satender is an alumnus of MDI Gurugram and is certified in various programs including, Harvard ManageMentor, Thomas Personal Profile Assessment (PPA), Career Counselling and Assessment Development Centre (ADC).
