Global packaging firm Shorr Packaging has announced the appointment of Rekha Jones as the organization's Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately. 

In her new role, Rekha will be tasked to oversee all elements of the company's people strategy and people functions. She will also engage across the business to support Shorr in employer branding opportunities across the ever-growing supply chain industry.

Rob Onorato, CEO, Shorr Packaging, said, "Rekha is the senior leader to help us accelerate the building of our already energized and high-performing team. She has proven herself a strategic and dynamic leader who understands the unique needs and challenges of supply chain organizations and leads with her expertise and values. We are thrilled to have her on board."

Rekha has served as a senior human resource leader at various enterprise-level organizations in her career. Most recently, she has served as VP, Global Human Resources at Instant Brands and is well-versed in recruitment strategies, crafting the diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, and by greatly augmenting the employee retention rates via enhanced onboarding programs.

Rekha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
