HSBC appoints Luanne Lim head of the Hong Kong business

HSBC on 14 February announced that Luanne Lim has been appointed Chief Executive of the Hong Kong business with immediate effect. She was previously Chief Operating Officer, Hong Kong, and was named interim CEO last September when then-CEO Diana Cesar moved to Hang Seng Bank.

Lim has been with HSBC for over 20 years, having begun her career in the Singapore business in 1999.

ADP appoints David Goeckeler to Board of Directors

ADP, a global technology company providing human capital management (HCM) solutions, earlier this week appointed David Goeckeler to the Board of Directors, effective February 14, 2022. 

This appointment expands the number of independent outside directors on the ADP Board to 11 members.

Shane G Eddy named president of Pratt & Whitney

Raytheon Technologies Corporation appointed Christopher T Calio as chief operating officer (COO) and named Shane G Eddy to succeed Calio as president of its Pratt & Whitney business unit, effective March 1, 2022.

Eddy is currently SVP and chief operations officer at Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft and helicopter engines, and auxiliary power units.

Disney appoints new metaverse head

On 15 February, a memo viewed by several media outlets revealed that Mike White, currently head of the consumer experiences and platforms division at Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution, was made in charge of "next generation storytelling and consumer experiences", earlier this week.

Culture Amp ropes in Edweena Stratton as CHRO

Culture Amp has appointed Edweena Stratton as its Chief People Officer. In her new role, Edweena will relocate from Sydney to San Francisco.
