Adidas to hire 2,800 employees this year

Adidas currently employs about 62,000 people, with 7,700 roles in Germany.

Sports accessories maker Adidas is all set to hire 2,800 employees in 2022, to meet the labor shortage in the industry. The company announced that the new hires will be based across 307 locations in 47 countries. 

According to the statement given out by the company, more than 800 roles will be based in Germany and the US each with about 900 roles for the retail outlets of Adidas. For the Portland headquarters in Oregon Adidas is going to hire 130 employees. 

Commenting on the move, Adidas’ Executive Board Member, Global Human Resources, People and Culture, Amanda Rajkumar said, “Adidas is an employer like no other, and we go above and beyond every day to create an attractive working environment for our employees. adidas is fantastic, and I can only encourage those interested to apply.”
