When the last edition of the report was launched in 2020, the world was going through one of the biggest crises we have faced in recent times. And this year as well, while there is a positive sentiment across the world in terms of recovering from the pandemic, there still seems to be a long way to go.

The theme for this year’s study, Emerging Stronger, sheds light on how some organisations are pulling ahead in emerging stronger. One of the most critical findings coming out of this year’s study is that adaptable organisations are 1.5 times more likely to see positive growth in revenues and profits. The HR function has certainly proved its mettle in this case and shown how well it can manage disruption. Also in Asia, organisations are projecting a positive sentiment for the coming 12 months, which is a good sign. Hence, it is indeed time to emerge stronger to deliver the right value of HR to stakeholders.
