Publicis Sapient appoints new Head of Experience

Digital transformation consultancy Publicis Sapient today announced the appointment of Jaz Lim as Head of Experience with immediate effect. She will be based in Singapore and report to Managing Director for ASEAN Jonathan Sharp. In her role, she will lead experience design projects for clients in Southeast Asia with a focus on financial services, retail, and healthcare. She will also be responsible for building the design team in Singapore.

Lim has most of a decade in experience design, having worked as Experience Design Lead at Citibank and Experience Design Director at Cognizant. Prior to that, she was Creative Director of Experience Design at Sapient Razorfish, the predecessor brand of Publicis Sapient—bringing her career in the field full circle. She has worked in San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam and London, and brings her varied experiences in traditional and digital marketing, complex platform development, research, and data analytics and visualization to the role.

“Today’s consumer expectations are high, and will only get higher," Lim said. "They expect immediacy, a personalized experience that is contextual, at the same time, they worry about privacy. Making sure we have the right formulation and the right ingredients when we design experience, is key."

Calling her a "rare talent within the digital transformation field," Jonathan Sharp, managing director of Publicis Sapient ASEAN, said that Lim's appointment is in line with the firm's focus on consumer-centricity, working in a dynamic environment, and upholding diversity and inclusiveness within the organization."
