Redline Communications ropes in Richard Yoon as President, Director and CEO
Redline Communications, a Canada based wireless communications network designer and manufacturer, last week announced the appointment of telecommunications veteran, Richard Yoon as Chief Executive Officer, President as well as Director. Under newly designated roles, Yoon will majorly gather his focus on building the business strategy, as the telecommunication platform charts the next growth phase. Yoon will hold the office, under the designated roles on September 13, 2021.
On the recent appointment, D. Neil McDonnell, Board Chair, Redline Communications said that the selection process had involved matching wireless industry executives against the company's strategy.
“Richard is a recognized and highly respected executive in the Wireless Telecom market, with a proven track record in developing and executing strategies to create long-term shareholder value,” McDonnell said. "The Board was also impressed with Richard’s expertise in leading and developing high-performing teams, and we are excited to have him join the Company.”
On joining the Redline Communications’ team, Yoon revealed his excitement to lead the team upon the company's loyal blue-chip customers. He will further manage technological development, investments, proprietary technologies and patent portfolio management. Yoon is looking forward to working with Redline, with prime focus over sustained growth and gains.
Yoon, a telecommunications veteran, has over three decades of experience in leading global organisations, P&L, business development, sales and marketing, channel development strategies and 'C' level marketing expertise. Yoon formerly worked at ZTE Canada as CEO and held a number of other executive roles. He has also worked with other international platforms including, Huawei, HoMedics Group of Canada, Palm, Telus Mobility, 724 Solutions, Celestica, Clearnet, and Bell Mobility.
