Vistra Group names Simon Webster as new CEO after Alan Brown’s departure
Vistra Group CEO Alan Brown stepped down to make way for Simon Webster will oversee the company’s next phase of growth in the coming years.
Webster’s appointment would be effective from November 7.
In his new role as CEO, Webster will be tasked with leading the business across 47 geographies. The company would be taking Webster’s cue in continuing the ongoing growth as the global market leader in fund and corporate services industry. Along with his new role, Simon will also join the 16-year-old company’s board.
Brown joined the company in 2019 and led Vistra’s team of 5,000 employees from the front. Under his tenure, the company galvanised its human resource to form One Vistra setup, creating an industry-leading global operating platform.

In addition, Vistra's global platform will also facilitate further accelerated growth by enabling Vistra to continue adding services and jurisdictions seamlessly, both organically and through M&A.”
He also added that Brown’s investment has made Vistra become well-positioned and an even stronger market-leading player. Webster comes with over 30 years of experience in the financial service. Before joining Vistra, he was the Group CEO of CPA Global, where he helped transform CPA Global from a single product 250-person firm into the de facto intellectual property industry platform that led acquisition and integration of multiple businesses around the world.
Webster has also collected a significant experience in investment, offshoring and transformation programmes across sales, product and support areas, which have delivered significant value creation with cultural and organisational change.
