Innovative ideas take centerstage at People Matters TechHR Singapore 2022

With only 12 weeks to go for People Matters TechHR Singapore 2022, taking place at Marina Bay Sands on 25 and 26 August, we are excited to share what’s in store for all those joining us for Asia’s largest HR and WorkTech conference. While many believe it to be a two-day conference for employees and organisations looking for new ideas, technologies and ways to solve business problems, we think that it is a journey towards discovery.

Besides amazing keynotes from a spectacular line-up of speakers, which include Carmen Wee, Anderson Tan, Michael Jenkins, Minh Hua, Stacey Harris, Dave Ulrich and Luigi Maria Fierro, among others, we also have interesting panel discussions, masterclasses, sessions, workshops and out-of-the-box themes to widen your perspective and Rethink What’s Possible with #FreshEyes.

This year, as People Matters TechHR Singapore 2022 goes hybrid for the very first time, we want you to immerse yourself in this unique experience, the People Matters way! While it is a bit challenging to encapsulate why you should join us, here are some innovative masterclasses, workshops and sessions that we believe will make you want to be a part of the experience. The opportunity is immense, so we don’t want you to miss out.

Here’s what’s new at TechHR Singapore this year

Lego Serious Play: We all have played with legos at some point during our childhood but did you ever think that it could help you with creative thinking and decision making at your workplace? Well, this year, we are introducing TechHR Lego Serious Play workshop where you will get exposed to new approaches that support teams in the process of ideation and problem solving. Become the answer for your peers, organisation and community with lego bricks!

Social Presencing Theatre (SPT): An arts-based social change technology, SPT helps groups of people relate with one another on a non-verbal level, and the information gained through these exercises is beneficial in moving the organisation, individuals and community towards positivity. With SPT, you are able to access your deeper souls of knowledge, not as an onlooker or observer but as a creator, who can call sense and shape to the emerging future. This masterclass will help one understand current reality while exploring possibilities ahead. Find out how simple body postures and movements can dissolve limiting concepts, and help groups as well as individuals to communicate directly, access intuition to make visible, both current reality and the deeper, often invisible, as leverage points for creating profound change.

Design Sprints: The unique idea with Design Sprints is to build and test a prototype in just five steps by mapping a problem, sketching solutions, deciding on the strongest solution, building a realistic prototype and testing it with a small team. At this masterclass, one can learn how the various steps fit together and why and how they work to align teams around a shared vision, while answering critical business questions and discovering the essence of a creative challenge. So, join us at People Matters TechHR Singapore 2022 to fast forward to the future and see how your customers will react to a new product, campaign, service, etc., before it actually happens.

The Power of Liberating Structures (LS): Liberating Structures simply mean rules that make it easy to include and unleash everyone in shaping the future. With over 33 liberating structures to replace or complement conventional practices, it helps introduce tiny shifts in the way we meet, plan, decide and relate to one another in a workspace. So, give back the power to your employees to unleash creative adaptability, while generating better than expected results.

Introduction to Wim Hof Method: Founded by the Dutch extreme athlete, Wim Hof, this method helps you discover your inner strength and potential. With the combination of breathing, cold therapy and commitment, Wim Hof Method helps you connect more deeply to your body, which can positively affect your mental health, mood, anxiety and stress levels. So, feel better in your body and see how it changes your state of being at this workshop.

Unconference: While conference is a term you are familiar with, the idea behind unconference is to create a space where we unlearn and learn in an engaging format with an unexplored vision. With different formats such as talk shows, quizzes, treasure hunts, movie learning session, robotic display, etc., we want you to let loose and let those ideas flow.

While these are some of the new events set to be introduced at the People Matters TechHR Singapore 2022, we won’t let go of the old traditions like the Night Fest where business networking among delegates, partners and speakers happen over a pub crawl or study tours which help employees gain industry insights.
