In her new role, Hong will oversee the organization's people strategy, talent management, workforce planning, and human resource operations. She will work under the leadership of Albert G. Horvath, CEO of ACS.
Currently serving as the Chief People Officer at National Public Radio (NPR), Hong joined in January 2020 and progressed to several leadership positions, including Vice President of Human Resources. She also worked with Hodgson Russ LLP and Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP at the beginning of her career. Her core competencies include fostering a positive work culture, enhancing employee experience, DEIB, as well as employee well-being and career development.
On the academic front, Hong completed the Wharton Executive Education Chief Human Resources Officer Program. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Yale University.
In addition to Hong, ACS has named Stephanie Holland as the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing. She will assume the role in an interim capacity for six months before taking on responsibilities permanently.
Welcoming Hong and Holland to their leadership roles, CEO Albert said, “Together, these appointments position ACS for future growth and success. Stephanie has demonstrated great leadership in the interim position, and Selyn brings fresh perspectives and experience to our leadership team."
