Aeris Communications has made some key appointments across its India and global teams.

Aeris Communications, a leading brand name in the Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M technologies, has expanded its senior leadership for both India and APAC business. 

With more than 23 years of experience in sales and marketing, Ramjet Koul will be joining Aeris team in the capacity of Vice President and Country Manager for APAC and MEA. Previously, he was working with Intel Corporation. Sameer Mahapatra who brings with him more than two decades of experience in the industry will be leading India and SAARC Sales for Aeris. 

At the same time, there have been other changes in the leadership as well with the appointment of Ravi Asawa as the Chief Financial Officer, India. He was previously with NDTV Group and has an industry experience of more than 20 years. 

“We started our journey in 2016 with Mr. Asit Goel, VP of Engineering and Mr. Arving Gopalakrishnan, VP of Sales Engineering and Customer Success, who helped lay the foundation of the Aeris IoT business in India,” said Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, President of Aeris Communications. “Today, it gives me immense pleasure to welcome new members in key leadership roles at Aeris. With this, Aeris 2.0 is born and I am confident that together, with everyone’s individual strengths and expertise in the industry, we still strive to value-driven engagements with our clients and partners and further accelerate our growth trajectory.” 

Other key appointments include the appointments of Vishal Bhatia as the VP of Product Management, Rakesh Gupta as the VP Global Services, who has joined from Impetus Technologies and has extensive experience in Global IT. 

There have been some changes in the leading communications company’s global executive leadership as well with Gaurav Jain joining as the VP of Global SOC from Aircel. As far as the customer solutions and IoT department is concerned, Rajeev Arora has joined as the VP of IoT Customer Solution Deployment—India, Asia, and Africa while Navneet Sharma has been appointed as VP Qualdev. 

These changes have been initiated in order to boost up Aeris’ business in the APAC region and build a trustworthy IoT ecosystem.
