Aon names Qin Lu as Head of Greater China

Qin Lu will oversee Aon’s business in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Aon plc, a professional services firm, has announced the appointment of Qin Lu as head of newly created sub region Greater China, comprising the markets of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, effective August 1. Qin will continue as a member of the Aon Asia-Pacific Executive Committee.

In his new role, Lu will bring together the firm's Risk Capital and Human Capital capabilities and work across the regional team to bring the breadth of Aon's expertise and solutions to clients. Lu will continue to lead Reinsurance Solutions in the sub-region.

Lu previously served as co-head of China and CEO of Reinsurance Solutions, Greater China at Aon. Prior to joining Aon in 2016, Lu worked at Swiss Re for 19 years and held various strategic and leadership roles across Asia, including leading Swiss Re's China business as its president.
