CHARM Therapeutics appoints Laura Hare as Chief People Officer and Head of Business Operations
CHARM Therapeutics, a UK-based biotech firm, has announced the appointment of Laura Hare as Chief People Officer and Head of Business Operations, with immediate effect.
In her new role, Laura brings around 20 years of HR expertise across healthcare technology, IT, video games, telecom and technology, consulting, and energy industries. Her core competencies include organizational development, employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, facilities, learning and development, human capital, and payroll.
In her previous roles, Laura worked with F-star, as the Senior Vice President and M&A Integration Lead, Flow Energy as Group HR Director, and Jagex as the HR Director. She also served Apricot and Business Link UAE in advisory roles at the beginning of her career.
On the academic front, Laura holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management from De Montfort University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Business Psychology from the University of Derby.

With the appointment of Laura, the biotech company further bolstered its leadership team to elevate business growth at the global level. In 2021, Matthew Charlton was appointed as the Head of Technical Talent Acquisition to help scale all areas of the business; machine learning and engineering, lab-based scientists and executive/C-level hires.
