Cisco names Deborah Woollard as VP HR for APJC region

Deborah Woollard has joined Cisco as the Vice President of Human Resources for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC), effective January 2019. Woollard will report to Charlie Johnston, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Global Sales & Country Human Resources, Cisco.

Miyuki Suzuki, Senior Vice President, APJC at Cisco stated, “Deborah brings extensive leadership experience to the role with a proven record of driving organizational growth, leadership acceleration and culture strategies, and will play an integral role in Cisco’s continued evolution and success in the region.”

Based out of the regional office in Singapore, Deborah will focus on driving organizational performance, leading Cisco’s talent and people strategy and designing employee engagement programmes across the region.

On her new role, Deborah stated, “I look forward to joining Cisco, an organization that is absolutely committed to building and leading top-performing teams and to driving growth and innovation whilst creating truly inclusive and inspiring workplace culture.”

Prior to joining Cisco, Deborah was the Vice President, Human Resources at InterContinental Hotels Group for Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to that, she has also held senior HR roles with the pharmaceuticals division of Abbott Laboratories and Unilever in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
