Following the announcement that Michalis Imellos will step down from the role as Group Chief Financial Officer at the end of the first quarter of 2021, Coca-Cola HBC announced that Ben Almanzar will join the Company as Group Chief Financial Officer.
Coca-Cola HBC appoints Almanzar as New Finance Chief

Coca-Cola HBC AG said it has appointed Ben Almanzar as its new Chief Financial Officer with effect from April 1 2021. The firm said Almanzar will replace current CFO Michalis Imellos who will step down from the role at the end of the first quarter.

Ben Almanzar has broad experience gained from senior financial positions in the global FMCG industry. He spent the past ten years with Mars Incorporated, including as Regional CFO, Europe & Southern Africa, and most recently as Vice President, Financial Planning, Analytics, and Financial Strategy. Prior to joining Mars, Ben spent ten years with Nestlé in a variety of finance roles in Europe.

As Group Chief Financial Officer, Ben will be based at the Company's head office in Zug, Switzerland, and will lead Coca-Cola HBC's finance organization with group-wide responsibility for accounting, treasury, financial planning, tax and investor relations.

Ben, a national of the Dominican Republic and the UK, holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Santo Domingo Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management.
