Vietnamese airline Vietjet has named Dinh Viet Phuong as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the airline. The airline company has also named Madam Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao as the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the company effective April 6.

Dinh Viet Phuong is currently serving as managing director of the company.

The appointments are parts of the Company’s development plan, marking the growth of the senior leaders at Vietjet to continue to expand and develop strongly in the future.

Madam Nguyen Thi Phương Thao is the founder of Vietjet. The businesswoman, the first self – made female billionaire in Vietnam and Southeast Asia has held the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors cum President & CEO of Vietjet for many years.

The decision announcement ceremony was held at the Vietjet’s Implementing 2023 Plan at Ho Chi Minh City.
