DXC appoints company veteran Jennifer Ragone as chief people officer

IT services firm DXC Technology has elevated Jennifer Ragone to the role of chief people officer.

Reporting directly to DXC President and CEO Raul Fernandez, Ragone will be responsible for developing and executing the technology firm’s people strategy and aligning talent solutions with its drive towards profitable growth, the company announced.

The newly appointed chief people officer has been with DXC for more than 30 years, playing a vital role in strengthening the company’s culture and advancing the business. She has also demonstrated deep operational expertise.

Championing an inclusive, value-driven culture

Ragone will lead programmes aimed at boosting work productivity and equipping teams for business transformation and the future of work.

At the same time, she will advocate for an “inclusive, value-driven culture centred on client centricity, accountability and performance excellence,” DXC said.

Fernandez commended Ragone for her incisive leadership.

“She has a deep understanding of our business and a proven track record in HR leadership that makes her the ideal choice to advance our people-first strategy,” the CEO said, highlighting Ragone’s background in tech.

“Her expertise in leveraging AI and data analytics for talent development aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of work ensuring we continue to attract, develop, and empower top talent globally,” Fernandez said.

Enabling business success through talent initiatives

Prior to her promotion, Ragone was vice president of Business HR at DXC. In this previous role, she cultivated her partnership with business leaders and spearheaded initiatives on talent development and organisational effectiveness.

Ragone has also previously taken on a diverse range of leadership roles in the HR function, “consistently showing adaptability and resilience while delivering innovative solutions that enable business growth,” DXC noted.

Fernandez said: “As a seasoned executive, she will help accelerate change and will be a key member of my senior leadership team.”

Commenting on her new role at DXC, Ragone said: “I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated and talented group of HR professionals and business leaders, all deeply committed to fostering a culture where our people can thrive.
