Fulgent Genetics has announced the appointment of Ellen Tsui as the Vice President of HR along with some other promotions in the leadership roles. Additionally, the company also elevated Chief Operating Officer James Xie to the President. With this elevation, he will be holding both positions. 

Tsui, who joined the company in 2018 as the human resources manager has accumulated more than ten years of experience in human resources management across various industries such as education, insurance, legal, medical, and manufacturing. Tsui holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management and International Business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Xie has been a key member of Fulgent’s executive team since the Company’s founding and has made meaningful contributions to the business through his leadership and commitment to Fulgent’s growth and expansion. Xie will remain responsible for managing Fulgent’s global operations, product vision and product engineering.

According to the official statement of Fulgent, some other elevations have also been announced.
