HelpSystems, a software company focused on helping exceptional organisations secure and automate their operations, has appointed Raghunandan (Raghu) Koushik as regional director for India & SAARC countries.
In his new role, Koushik will be responsible for optimising regional channel partnerships to fully support customers with an extensive portfolio of cyber security software solutions.
An industry veteran, Koushik brings over 25 years of experience in business development and managing channel and alliances, predominantly in the information security market. Before joining HelpSystems, he held various leadership roles and managed business units for leading organisations including Cisco, Micro Focus, HPE Security, Oracle, Symantec, IBM, and McAfee.
Through its acquisition of Digital Guardian, HelpSystems obtained a development centre in Hyderabad, India. This has significantly opened up the region as an exciting area of expansion for the company.
“India and SAARC countries offer a huge opportunity for HelpSystems. Our partner community is an essential component of our regional go-to-market strategy. Through the development of these partnerships and with our impressive cyber security software portfolio, we’re well placed to help solve our customers’ cybersecurity challenges. Raghu has proven expertise in his field and he is a great addition to the team. We are excited to have him on board,” said David Land, managing director, Asia Pacific and Japan at HelpSystems.
“As a fast growing economy, India has been particularly impacted by cyber threats and has seen increased incidents of data breaches, making IP, data, and brand protection a key initiative for many organisations in the region. It’s not only an exciting time to join HelpSystems but it’s incredibly important work too,” added Koushik.
