IBM appoints Veronica Allen as Managing Director of IBM Singapore

IBM today announced the appointment of Veronica Allen as Managing Director of IBM Singapore. 

Allen replaces Abraham Thomas who will lead strategic projects for Asia Pacific reporting to Harriet Green, Chairman and CEO, IBM Asia Pacific. 

Most recently, Veronica led IBM’s Public Sector business in Asia Pacific as well as Healthcare and Life Sciences portfolios. 

In her 28 years of experience, she has held many leadership roles and led business management, with a proven track record in business transformation, business turnaround and business development working closely with c-suite executives. 

“Singapore is of strategic importance to IBM where we have been helping clients take advantage of disruptive technologies such as Hybrid Cloud, AI, Blockchain and world-class security. With these capabilities we have been partnering with our clients to drive their competitive advantage as well as fortify their organizations against large scale internal and external security threats,” she said. 

Before joining IBM, Veronica was the CEO of Parkway Shenton in Singapore and held several senior executive roles in several global corporations.
