Freight logistics and planning company Jet Freight has roped in people strategist Ashish Nagpurkar as its Chief Human Resource Officer of the organisation. 

In his new role, Ashish will be responsible for complementing its global people culture and workplace strategies, as per the company’s statement. Additionally, he will be responsible for identifying key leadership talent and pioneering employee engagement initiatives while creating an inclusive people culture.

Ashish brings over 24 years of comprehensive experience in business and people management. He has 14 years of experience in Core HR spanning across, HR Strategy, performance management, HR operations, HR ERP system implementation, organisational change management, talent management, succession planning, learning & development, employee engagement, and 10 years in business domain with exposure to strategy management, planning & marketing information system, business process consulting, and business process reengineering. Previously he has worked with companies like Mahindra & Mahindra, Polycab and will be joining Jet Freight from Badve Engineering, where he was the Senior General Manager.

Ashish has done his post graduation in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur and comes with an engineering background.
