Kearney appoints Shigeru Sekinada as new Asia Pacific Region Chair
Kearney, a global management consulting firm, has appointed Shigeru Sekinada as its next Asia Pacific Region Chair, beginning May 1, 2024. Sekinada, who will also be Managing Director of Japan, succeeds Arjun Sethi, who has held the job since 2020. Sekinada has spent the preceding 21 years in Japan, where he was instrumental in shaping Kearney's growth trajectory.
Sekinada's term at Kearney has been highlighted by significant accomplishments, including the establishment of Kearney's Digital Transformation Practice and the development of communities among Japanese business leaders. Reflecting on his new post, Sekinada emphasized his excitement about leading Kearney through its next phase of expansion, motivated by a desire to provide high-quality service and create value for clients, staff, and society as a whole.
