Leadership rejigs at PayPal, Isabel Cruz named as EVP and Chief People Officer
PayPal, a leading fintech organization, has announced the appointment of three senior leaders, including Isabel Cruz, who has been named Chief People Officer.
In her new role, Cruz brings over 25 years of core expertise, encompassing Global Workforce Management, Business Transformation, Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion, M&A, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, and Succession Planning. She will be accountable for attracting, retaining, and developing talent, as well as spearheading the global real estate strategy of the company.
Before her appointment, Cruz served Walmart Global Technology, Services & Corporate Teams as the SVP and People Leader. In previous roles, she worked with General Electric as their Senior HR Leader of the Business Development and Transition Management Office, and at NBCUniversal Media as the VP of HR for Ad Sales, Marketing, and Research.
In addition to Cruz, the fintech company has appointed Michelle Gill as the EVP and General Manager of a newly formed Small Business and Financial Services Group, and Diego Scotti as the EVP and General Manager of a newly formed Consumer Group and Global Marketing and Communications organization.
As part of leadership changes, Kausik Rajgopal, the former CPO, has been appointed as the EVP of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Partnerships. Additionally, Frank Keller has been named the SVP and General Manager of the Large Enterprise and Merchant Platform Group. Keller will join Bimal Patel, the current SVP and General Counsel, on the senior leadership team, operating under the direction of Alex Chriss, the President, and CEO of the company.
