Lego Group appoints new Chief Digital & Technology Officer

The LEGO Group has appointed Atul Bhardwaj as its new Chief Digital & Technology Officer. Bhardwaj will also be the company's new Executive Vice President.
Lego Group appoints new Chief Digital & Technology Officer

The Lego Group announced the appointment of Atul Bhardwaj as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Technology Officer. Bhardwaj joins the LEGO Group from German consumer electronics retailer MediaMarktSaturn, where he is currently Executive Vice President of Logistics and Chief Technology Officer. 

Prior to assuming this role in 2018, Bhardwaj was Chief Information Officer at Tesco PLC. He was previously a partner at management consultancy, Accenture. Bhardwaj will be responsible for the Group’s digital and technology teams and oversee its continued digital transformation to support long-term growth.

Bhardwaj holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
