Liberty General Insurance is elevating  Jayesh Sampat, President – Human Resources, Business Operations & Customer Experience as Senior Talent Advisor, Global Regional Market-East. In his new role, Jayesh will be reporting to Jennifer Ughetta, Chief Talent Officer at Liberty Mutual and will be the single point of contact and strategic consult for the GRM-East which consists of Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, China, and Russia.

Jayesh has been associated with Liberty General Insurance in India for over seven years. He has held HR leadership roles in the banking and insurance fields, as well as worked in HR branding, talent management, learning & development, and employee relations. 

A Masters of Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, he has been a member of senior executive teams in global organizations, where he has taken the role of transformation and change management, championed in culture building and shaped people strategies & programs. Prior to Liberty General Insurance, he was the Group Head of Human Resources at The Karvy Group of companies. Before that, he was also the Director of Human Resources at UBS bank.

In business since 1912, and headquartered in Boston, Mass., today Liberty Mutual Group is a leading global insurer with operations in 30 countries and economies around the world. Liberty Mutual also ranks 75th on the Fortune 100 list of largest corporations in the U.S. based on 2016 revenue.  As of December 31, 2017, it had $39.4 Bn in annual consolidated revenue. 

The Indian company of US-based Liberty Mutual Insurance Group is a joint venture between Liberty Citystate Holdings PTE Ltd, Enam Securities, and DP Jindal Group, an industrial conglomerate. Liberty commenced operations in India in 2013 with the aim of providing comprehensive retail, commercial and industrial insurance solutions. The company has employee strength of 1100+ serving customers over a network of 60 offices in 58 cities across 23 states.
