Business consulting firm Mercer has appointed Peta Latimer as President of Mercer Asia, effective 1 March 2023.

Peta in her current role is serving as CEO of Mercer Singapore.

“We are pleased to share that Peta Latimer has been appointed Mercer Asia President effective 1 March 2023,” announced Mercer Asia on Linkedin.

In her new role, Peta will be responsible for growth and operations across the region to drive Mercer Asia’s financial and strategic performance.

Passionate about change and making a difference, she will drive greater collaboration across Mercer and Marsh McLennan to support our clients with their evolving Health, Wealth and Career needs.

Earlier, the firm appointed David Jacob CEO of Marsh McLennan Asia.

Also, effective 1 March 2023, James Addington-Smith, currently CEO of Marsh South Asia, has been appointed as Marsh Asia President, and David Bryant has been named CEO Marsh McLennan Pacific, in addition to his responsibilities as Mercer Pacific President.

Prior to joining Mercer, Bryant served as CEO of Wealth & Capital Markets and Chief Investment Officer at Australian Unity, where he had held senior leadership roles since joining in 2004. He is also Chairman of Australia’s Financial Services Council.
