Identity provider Okta has announced the appointment of industry executive Stephanie Barnett as its Vice President of Presales for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

Barnett, who comes with nearly 15 years of experience in the tech industry, will be responsible for leading Okta's team of solution engineers, system architects, and technical specialists across the APJ region, assisting the sales team in acquiring and supporting customers, and generating growth.

She will also oversee presales operations and drive Okta's scaled strategic, enterprise-wide go-to-market initiatives.

Barnett has joined Okta from Cloudflare where most recently she served as the vice president and chief of staff for Asia Pacific, Japan and China. Previously, she served in the tech industry in leadership roles in sales, solution engineering, and business development at IBM, Salesforce, and Cloudflare.
