Orange Business Service has appointed Nick Lambert as Senior Vice President to lead Asia Pacific business.

The France based IT firm, Orange Business Services, is the business services arm of Orange S.A., a global integrator of communications products and services for multinational corporations.

With partners like Cisco and Huawei on board, it has grown over the years, with a focus on APAC as a key growth market. It has about 16 major sales offices throughout the region and regional headquarters in Singapore, with more than 800 customers.

With APAC as a key market for the company, appointing a leader to spearhead the next phase of growth in the region was crucial. OBS found the right expertize in Lambert, who has worked in Asia for more than 15 years.

He has an in-depth understanding of telecoms, infrastructure and cloud services in Asia and has held several senior executive positions at ServiceNow, Telstra, Vodafone/Cable & Wireless and IBM. He has an excellent record of high sales growth, profitability and customer satisfaction and strongly believes in “together works better.”

While announcing the appointment, Hélène Auriol Potier, Executive Vice President, International at Orange Business Services said, "Nick's deep knowledge of B2B as well as his expertise in telecom and new services will be key to enabling our team to perform and support our customers in their transformation."

As the Senior Vice President, Lambert would be spearheading growth across all market segments, including firm's key markets like China, India, Australasia, Japan, Hong Kong, ASEAN and Korea.

Lambert is also excited to take on the new role. He shared how thrilled he is to be part of Orange Business Services and lead the teams in Asia Pacific.

"The pace of development and digitization in this region has been exemplary, and the appetite for innovation is so exciting. I am looking forward to joining a dynamic team and collaborating with them to achieve great success," said Lambert.

In terms of innovation and digitization, the APAC region has indeed shown exemplary growth over the years. Among the many factors leading disruption, technology is the one to have created great impact. It has challenged business models, redefined how business is done, and how companies serve their customers and interact with them. It has also changed how businesses get the work done and how the teams interact internally.

With technology being increasingly integrated across functions, the growth opportunities for firms like OBS are many. However, the leadeship at OBS also has to continuously invest in innovating its services while they assist others to transcend in their innovation and digitization journey.
