PepsiCo names Dannii Portsmouth as Senior VP and CHRO for Europe
PepsiCo, a global beverage company, has promoted Dannii Portsmouth to Senior Vice President and CHRO for Europe, with immediate effect. She will be reporting to Silviu Popovici, CEO of PepsiCo Europe.
Before her new appointment, Dannii was overseeing PepsiCo’s West Division Beverages US as Vice President of the HR function. As SVP and CHRO, she will lead the HR function of PepsiCo Europe, including talent management and building strategic organisational and people capabilities, encompassing 40,000 employees across 55 countries.
Welcoming Dannii to her new role, CEO Popovici posted on LinkedIn, “I'm delighted to share that Dannii Portsmouth FCIPD has been appointed as Senior Vice President, CHRO at PepsiCo Europe. Having spent the last two years leading our HR efforts in California, she returns to Europe with the knowledge, experience, and understanding to take our people power to new heights. I know I speak on behalf of all my colleagues in saying that we're excited to welcome her back and have another amazing talent join the team.”
Dannii joined PepsiCo in 2019 as VP of Human Resources for the UK and Ireland operations. She implemented key initiatives that bolstered business performance, enhanced employee experiences, and controlled frontline employee turnover.

Dannii brings over 25 years of experience in deep business knowledge, global experience, and HR expertise. Prior to PepsiCo, she served GSK, a global pharmaceutical company for more than 10 years in key roles including VP of HR for Consumer Healthcare R&D and Digital Innovation, Director and HR Business Lead for UK & Ireland Pharmaceuticals, Director for CEO’s office, and more.
