Robert Half promotes two new C-level leaders

Global talent solutions and business consulting firm Robert Half has announced the promotion of James Johnson to executive vice president and chief technology officer and Katherine Spencer Lee to executive vice president and chief administrative officer.

In his role, Johnson will continue to lead Robert Half's innovation journey, focusing on technology and AI solutions that enhance the customer and employee experience.

For the past two decades, Johnson has played a pivotal role in guiding the company's technological innovation, from building Robert Half's initial technology infrastructure to implementing customer relationship management applications and leading the development of proprietary AI-based technology that makes it easier and faster to hire or be hired, the company said in a statement.

"James understands the need to be agile and adaptable and implement strategies that will allow us to better serve our customers. Under his leadership, I am confident our applications, technology and innovation team will continue to meet the dynamic and highly complex demands of our business," said M Keith Waddell, president and chief executive officer of Robert Half.

In 2021, Johnson was named to Staffing Industry Analysts' North America Staffing 100 list. He is heavily involved in Robert Half's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, including the company's Employee Network Groups. He serves as an executive sponsor of the Black Employee Network and advisor to Asian Professionals for Excellence.

A 27-year veteran of Robert Half, Lee has held many leadership roles, including executive director for the technology practice group, operational president for professional talent solutions in the Eastern United States and, most recently, operational president for US technology and legal talent solutions during her tenure.

"Our company is built on exceptional people, industry-leading technology, innovation and inclusion. Katherine's excellence in these areas and her extensive leadership experience and industry expertise position her for great success in this role," said Waddell.

Lee has been named to Staffing Industry Analysts' Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list multiple times. A champion for diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, she serves as an executive sponsor of Robert Half's internal Black Employee Network group.
