US-based technology, marketing and sourcing company tms, has appointed Preet Michelson as chief people officer, effective December 18.

Preet will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global talent acquisition, development, and retention programs. She will also focus on employee engagement.  

Before taking up the new role at tms, Preet worked with CVS Health as VP human resources. She brings with her more than 20 years of industry experience. Before joining tms, Preet had a dynamic career in strategy and HR across companies such as Molson Coors, PepsiCo, and Beam Suntory.

In her most recent role at CVS Health, Preet was responsible for driving multiple strategic initiatives, such as improving employee engagement and experience and launching company-wide talent management and leadership development systems. 

Her specialties lie in succession planning, org design, EVP, change management, performance management, talent management, and executive leadership coaching.
