Tiger Brokers has onboarded Ian Leong as CEO. He has succeeded Eng Thiam Choon, who stepped down in June. Before being elevated as CEO, Leong worked as Business Development Director–(Retail). 

Leong who has been with Tiger Brokers since 2020, assumed the role of CEO on September 28.

Before joining Tiger Brokers, Leong worked with uSMART Singapore as CEO, POEMS at Phillip Securities (Singapore), and led the Trading Representatives and Client Services team at Lim & Tan Securities.

Leong has been in the securities industry since 2010, his experience enables him to help grow the company. He comes with experience in heading different functions for prominent brokers in Singapore.
