Ceridian, a global company in human capital management (HCM) technology, recently entered into a definitive agreement to acquire eloomi, which provides learning experience platform software. The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2024.

eloomi, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Orlando, Florida, is backed by the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) www.eifo.dk, Kennet Partners www.kennet.com, and Great Hill Partners www.greathillpartners.com.

“The dynamic learning and development needs of today’s boundless workforce require leading enterprise solutions. The acquisition of eloomi will help supercharge the people development capabilities of Dayforce, equipping customers with more engaging learning and development experiences, AI-driven content creation, and extended enterprise learning capabilities,” said Joe Korngiebel, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Ceridian.

According to Joe Korngiebel, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Ceridian, the acquisition will fortify Dayforce's people development capabilities, offering customers more engaging learning experiences, AI-driven content creation, and extended enterprise learning capabilities. With the global Learning Management System (LMS) market anticipated to reach $54.69 billion by 2032, Ceridian recognizes the importance of continual skills optimization for a competitive workforce.
