Adjust appoints Shawn Bonham President for APAC

Global app marketing platform Adjust announced on November 10 that it has appointed Shawn Bonham as President APAC. Bonham has been with Adjust since 2014, most recently in the role of Chief Revenue Officer and before that as Managing Director for APAC and India. He opened Adjust's six offices around the APAC region over the intervening years, and in his new position, will be responsible for growing teams in China, India, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining Adjust, Bonham was Managing Director, JAPAC at mobile analytics platform Upsight, and also held roles at NVIDIA and Havok. He said of his new appointment:

“APAC is an incredibly varied and exciting region for mobile marketers—from the hyper-advanced companies of Korea and Japan to up-and-coming markets such as Myanmar and Vietnam. I’m looking forward to working more closely with our team and brands across the region, and I’m confident that our ever-expanding suite of measurement, automation, and fraud prevention tools will continue to drive growth for our clients in Asia-Pacific.”

Various research on the mobile market in the Asia Pacific has found that the region is the fastest growing in the world for mobile apps, and by extension in-app advertising. Despite a plunge in general ad spend this year—attributable to the impact of COVID-19—mobile ad spend has actually grown, and analysts have predicted that the APAC ad market will overall remain the second largest globally.
